Anti-GANC antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein glucosidase alpha, neutral C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 914 amino acid residues and a mass of 104.3 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Glycosyl hydrolase 31 protein family, GANC is known to have alpha-glucosidase activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include neutral alpha-glucosidase C. GANC gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chicken species. A number of GANC antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
