Anti-SLC41A3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 41 member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 507 amino acid residues and a mass of 54.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria. Up to 9 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the SLC41A transporter protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include SLC41A1-L2 and SLC41A1-like 2. SLC41A3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some SLC41A3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
