Anti-MYBL1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MYB proto-oncogene like 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 752 amino acid residues and a mass of 85.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in a variety of lymphoid and solid tumor lines cultured in vitro. MYBL1 is reported to be a transcription factor that specifically recognizes the sequence 5'-YAAC[GT]G-3'. Synonyms for this target antigen include AMYB, myb-related protein A, myb-like protein 1, v-myb avian myeloblastosis viral oncogene homolog-like 1, and A-MYB. MYBL1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of MYBL1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
