Anti-SEC14L4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SEC14 like lipid binding 4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 406 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.6 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. SEC14L4 is a suspected hydrophobic ligand-binding protein; may play a role in the transport of hydrophobic ligands like tocopherol, squalene and phospholipids. Synonyms for this target antigen include SEC14-like 4, SEC14p-like protein TAP3, tocopherol-associated protein 3, and SEC14-like protein 4. SEC14L4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the SEC14L4 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
