Anti-OR56B1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 56 subfamily B member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 324 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor OR11-65, olfactory receptor, family 56, subfamily B, member 1 pseudogene, and olfactory receptor 56B1. OR56B1 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat species. ELISA is the most common application for the OR56B1 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
