Anti-OR10J5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 10 subfamily J member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 309 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in both the aorta, the coronary artery and umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR10J5 is known to be involved with angiogenesis and chemotaxis. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include olfactory receptor 10J5 and olfactory receptor OR1-28. OR10J5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR10J5 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
