Anti-FAM81A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 81 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 368 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.4 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and cerebral cortex. It is a member of the FAM81 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM81A. FAM81A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FAM81A antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
