Anti-FAM104A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein family with sequence similarity 104 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 186 amino acid residues and a mass of 19.5 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. It is a member of the FAM104 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein FAM104A. FAM104A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the FAM104A antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
