Anti-CGB3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chorionic gonadotropin subunit beta 3. It is notably expressed in the placenta and testis. The CGB3 marker can be used to identify Syncytiotrophoblasts (STB).* Synonyms for this target antigen include CGB5, CGB7, CGB8, LHB, hCGB, choriogonadotropin subunit beta 3, CG-beta, and CGB. A number of CGB3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
