Anti-PDIA3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein protein disulfide isomerase family A member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 505 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. It is notably expressed in the flagellum and head region of spermatozoa. A member of the Protein disulfide isomerase protein family, PDIA3 is reported to be a disulfide isomerase, which catalyzes the formation, isomerization, and reduction or oxidation of disulfide bonds. Synonyms for this target antigen include ERp57, ERp60, ERp61, GRP57, GRP58, HEL-S-269, HEL-S-93n, and ER60. PDIA3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Over 170 citations in the literature describe the use of PDIA3 antibodies in research. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
