Anti-MIER family member 3 antibodies are used for the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the MIER3 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 550 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 5 different isoforms for this protein. It is known to be a type of transcriptional repressor. Other names for this target antigen include mesoderm induction early response protein 3 and mesoderm induction early response 1, family member 3. Gene orthologs have been identified in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of MIER family member 3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
