Anti-Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3 subunit D antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene EIF3D in humans. The gene may also be known as EIF3S7, eIF3-p66, eIF3-zeta, eIF3 p66, and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 3, subunit 7 zeta, 66/67kDa. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 64 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
