Anti-ubiquitin like 4A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the UBL4A gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 157 amino acid residues and a mass of 17.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Post-translational modifications have been described, including ubiquitination. Other names for this target antigen include DXS254E, G6PD, GDX, GET5, MDY2, TMA24, UBL4, and DX254E.
