Anti-DEAH-box helicase 15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the DHX15 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 795 amino acid residues and a mass of 90.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the DEAD box helicase protein family, it is known to be a RNA helicase involved in mRNA processing and antiviral innate immunity. Other names for this target antigen include DDX15, PRP43, PRPF43, PrPp43p, hPrp43, ATP-dependent RNA helicase DHX15, ATP-dependent RNA helicase #46, and DBP1.
