Anti-Interleukin 30 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Interleukin 30 antigen is another term for the human protein interleukin 27, encoded by the IL27 gene. The protein is reported to associate with EBI3 to form the IL-27 interleukin, a heterodimeric cytokine which functions in innate immunity. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 243 residues and a mass of 27.5 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein and it is reported to be expressed in monocytes and in the placenta. The Interleukin 30 protein is a member of the IL-6 protein superfamily. Other alias names for Interleukin 30 include interleukin-27 subunit alpha, IL-27 p28 subunit, and IL-27 subunit alpha. Western Blot is a widely used application for the Interleukin 30 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
