Anti-CRHBP Antibody Products

Anti-CRHBP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein corticotropin releasing hormone binding protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 322 amino acid residues and a mass of 36.1 kDa. It has been described to be a secreted protein. It is notably expressed in the testis. A member of the CRF-binding protein family, CRHBP is known to bind CRF and inactivates it. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation.

The CRHBP marker can be used to identify Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSC) and Hypothalamus Mammillary Body Neurons.* Synonyms for this target antigen include CRFBP, corticotropin-releasing factor-binding protein, CRF-binding protein, and CRF-BP. CRHBP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of CRHBP antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
