Anti-DUPLIN antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the DUPLIN antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CHD8 gene, which encodes chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 8. This protein is known to function in brain development and chromatin remodeling, among other biological roles. The human version of DUPLIN has a canonical amino acid length of 2581 residues and a protein mass of 290.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. DUPLIN is a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase protein family.
