Anti-CT153 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CT153 antigen is another term for the human protein serine protease 55, encoded by the PRSS55 gene. The protein is a suspected serine protease, which plays a crucial role in the fertility of male mice including sperm migration and sperm-egg interaction. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 352 residues and a mass of 38.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and cytoplasm. The CT153 protein is a member of the Peptidase S1 protein family.
