Anti-C4orf3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 4 open reading frame 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 66 amino acid residues and a mass of 7.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. Synonyms for this target antigen include HCV F-transactivated protein 1, another-regulin, hepatitis C virus F protein-transactivated protein 1, and uncharacterized protein C4orf3. C4orf3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for C4orf3 antibodies.
