Anti-CHED1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CHED1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the OVOL2 gene, which encodes ovo like zinc finger 2. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of CHED1 has a canonical amino acid length of 275 residues and a protein mass of 30.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. CHED1 is a member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family.
