Anti-ML-IAP antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ML-IAP is a known alias name of the protein baculoviral IAP repeat containing 7, encoded by the BIRC7 gene in humans. This 298-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in eye development and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications.
