Anti-PPG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PPG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SRGN gene, which encodes serglycin. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of PPG has a canonical amino acid length of 158 residues and a protein mass of 17.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the skin, lymph node, lung, bone marrow, and appendix. PPG is a member of the Serglycin protein family. Indicated applications for PPG antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
