Anti-TRIM59 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tripartite motif containing 59. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 403 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family, TRIM59 is known to be involved with innate immune responses and protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include RING finger protein 104, tripartite motif-containing 57, tumor suppressor TSBF-1, tumor suppressor TSBF1, and tripartite motif-containing protein 59. TRIM59 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TRIM59 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
