Anti-USAG1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target USAG1 is a known alias name of the protein sclerostin domain containing 1, encoded by the SOSTDC1 gene in humans. This 206-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be involved in the onset of endometrial receptivity for implantation/sensitization for the decidual cell reaction Enhances Wnt signaling and inhibits TGF-beta signaling (By similarity). The protein is secreted and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney and weakly in the lung. Other synonyms for USAG1 include CDA019, DAND7, and ECTODIN.
