Anti-GP200-MR6 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target GP200-MR6 is a known alias name of the protein lymphocyte antigen 75, encoded by the LY75 gene in humans. This 1722-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a endocytic receptor to direct captured antigens from the extracellular space to a specialized antigen-processing compartment (By similarity). It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in spleen, thymus, colon and peripheral blood lymphocytes. Other synonyms for GP200-MR6 include CD205, CLEC13B, and DEC-205. Flow Cytometry is a widely used application for the GP200-MR6 antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
