Anti-ANKRD52 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ankyrin repeat domain 52. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1076 amino acid residues and a mass of 115.1 kDa. ANKRD52 is believed to be a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 6 (PP6) that may be involved in the recognition of phosphoprotein substrates. Synonyms for this target antigen include CVWG5837, PP6-ARS-C, ankyrin repeat domain-containing protein 52, protein phosphatase 6 ankyrin repeat subunit C, and serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 6 regulatory ankyrin repeat subunit C. ANKRD52 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ANKRD52 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
