Anti-Claudin 11 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CLDN11 in humans. The Claudin 11 protein has a reported amino acid length of 207 and an expected mass of 22 kDa. The protein may also be known as Oligodendrocyte Specific Protein, OSP, OTM, and oligodendrocyte transmembrane protein. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
