Anti-SJS2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SJS2 antigen is another term for the human protein LIF receptor subunit alpha, encoded by the LIFR gene. The protein is known to function in receptor-mediated signaling pathways and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1097 residues and a mass of 123.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. The SJS2 protein is a member of the Type I cytokine receptor protein family. Other alias names for SJS2 include CD118 and STWS.
