Anti-ARFRP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ADP ribosylation factor related protein 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 201 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Arf protein family, ARFRP1 is reported to be a Trans-Golgi-associated GTPase that regulates protein sorting. Synonyms for this target antigen include ARP, ARF-related protein 1, SCG10 like-protein, epididymis secretory sperm binding protein, and ARL18. ARFRP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ARFRP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
