Anti-KLHDC8A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein kelch domain containing 8A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 350 amino acid residues and a mass of 38.9 kDa. Synonyms for this target antigen include S-delta-E1, substitute for delta-EGFR expression 1, and kelch domain-containing protein 8A. KLHDC8A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the Klhdc8a antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
