Anti-SET7 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The SET7 antigen is another term for the human protein SET domain containing 7, histone lysine methyltransferase, encoded by the SETD7 gene. The protein is a known histone methyltransferase that specifically monomethylates 'Lys-4' of histone H3. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 366 residues and a mass of 40.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and chromosomes and it is widely expressed across many tissue types. The SET7 protein is a member of the Histone-lysine methyltransferase protein family.
