Anti-Jagged 1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Jagged 1 antigen is another term for the human protein jagged canonical Notch ligand 1, encoded by the JAG1 gene. The protein is known to function in angiogenesis, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1218 residues and a mass of 133.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is found to be widely expressed in adult and fetal tissues. Over 110 citations in the literature describe the use of Jagged 1 antibodies in research. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
