Anti-Arylsulfatase K antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Arylsulfatase K antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARSK gene, which encodes arylsulfatase family member K. This protein is known to catalyze the hydrolysis of pseudosubstrates such as p-nitrocatechol sulfate and p-nitrophenyl sulfate. The human version of Arylsulfatase K has a canonical amino acid length of 536 residues and a protein mass of 61.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes and is secreted of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the duodenum and endometrium. This target antigen may also be known as arylsulfatase K. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the Arylsulfatase K antibodies listed below. In addition, Immunofluorescence is also a common application.
