Anti-CCDC186 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 186. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 898 amino acid residues and a mass of 103.7 kDa. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. CCDC186 is known to be involved with carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis. Synonyms for this target antigen include CCCP-1, CCCP1, golgin104, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 186, CTCL tumor antigen HD-CL-01/L14-2, and C10orf118. CCDC186 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of ccdc186 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
