Anti-MAGEB6 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein MAGE family member B6. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 407 amino acid residues and a mass of 44 kDa. It is notably expressed in the testis. MAGEB6 is known to be involved with the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include MAGE-B6 antigen, cancer/testis antigen 3.4, cancer/testis antigen family 3, member 4, melanoma antigen family B, 6, melanoma antigen family B6, and melanoma-associated antigen B6. MAGEB6 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAGEB6 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
