Anti-Lamin B receptor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene LBR in humans. The gene may also be known as ic, PHA, C14SR, DHCR14B, LMN2R, and delta(14)-sterol reductase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 70.7 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
