Anti-ext1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein exostosin glycosyltransferase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 746 amino acid residues and a mass of 86.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and golgi. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Glycosyltransferase 47 protein family, it is known to be involved with axon guidance and the Wnt signaling pathway. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include LGCR, LGS, TRPS2, TTV, exostosin-1, and EXT.
