Anti-KLHL18 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein kelch like family member 18. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 574 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.6 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the gallbladder, urinary bladder, and adrenal gland. KLHL18 is reported to be a substrate-specific adapter of a BCR (BTB-CUL3-RBX1) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex required for mitotic progression and cytokinesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include kelch-like protein 18. KLHL18 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some KLHL18 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunofluorescence is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
