Anti-nog2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The nog2 antigen is another term for the human protein G protein nucleolar 2, encoded by the GNL2 gene. The protein is a reported GTPase that associates with pre-60S ribosomal subunits in the nucleolus and is required for their nuclear export and maturation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 731 residues and a mass of 83.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is found to be widely expressed, with the highest expression level in testis. The nog2 protein is a member of the TRAFAC class YlqF/YawG GTPase protein family. Other alias names for nog2 include HUMAUANTIG, NGP1, and Ngp-1. ELISA is a widely used application for the nog2 antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
