Anti-C5orf24 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 5 open reading frame 24. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 188 amino acid residues and a mass of 20.1 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the UPF0461 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include UPF0461 protein C5orf24. C5orf24 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some C5orf24 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
