Anti-ZNF551 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger protein 551. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 670 amino acid residues and a mass of 77.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Krueppel C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, ZNF551 is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation. Synonyms for this target antigen include KOX 23 protein (56 AA) and zinc finger protein KOX23. ZNF551 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and chimpanzee species. These ZNF551 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
