Anti-Peroxidasin antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PXDN in humans. The Peroxidasin protein has an expected mass of 165.3 kDa, but there are 2 reported isoforms. The protein may also be known as D2S448, peroxidasin homolog (Drosophila), VPO, VPO1, melanoma-associated antigen MG50, and ASGD7. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
