Anti-c-H-Ras antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the c-H-Ras antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HRAS gene, which encodes HRas proto-oncogene, GTPase. This protein is known to function in adipose tissue development and organ morphogenesis, among other biological roles. The human version of c-H-Ras has a canonical amino acid length of 189 residues and a protein mass of 21.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Other names for this target antigen include C-BAS/HAS and C-HA-RAS1. Western Blot is a widely used application for the c-H-Ras antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
