Anti-LAS1L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein LAS1 like ribosome biogenesis factor. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 734 amino acid residues and a mass of 83.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the LAS1 protein family, LAS1L is reported to be involved in biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit. The LAS1L gene has been associated with the disease, Intellectual developmental disorder. Synonyms for this target antigen include ribosomal biogenesis protein LAS1L and protein LAS1 homolog. LAS1L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some LAS1L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
