Anti-TrkA antibodies detect the protein encoded by the gene NTRK1, or 'neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase 1' in humans. The 796-amino acid protein is a member of the Protein kinase superfamily, Tyr protein kinase family, Insulin receptor subfamily. The cellular localization is predicted to be membrane-associated. Glycosylation sites have been reported.
