Anti-Sirtuin 5 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene SIRT5 in humans. The gene may also be known as SIR2L5, NAD-dependent protein deacylase sirtuin-5, mitochondrial, and NAD-dependent deacetylase sirtuin-5. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 33.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
