Anti-RSS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RSS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GRB10 gene, which encodes growth factor receptor bound protein 10. This protein is known to function in carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other biological roles. The human version of RSS has a canonical amino acid length of 594 residues and a protein mass of 67.2 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. RSS is a member of the GRB7/10/14 protein family.
