Anti-Ribosomal protein L5 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RPL5 in humans. The gene may also be known as MSTP030, PPP1R135, uL18, 60S ribosomal protein L5, and large ribosomal subunit protein uL18. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 34.4 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, yeast, plant, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
