Anti-CHM1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CHM1 is a known alias name of the protein chondromodulin, encoded by the CNMD gene in humans. This 334-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cartilage development and cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix of the cell and features cleaved and glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in cartilage and cardiac valves. Other synonyms for CHM1 include BRICD3 and CHM-I. Indicated applications for CHM1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
