Anti-CAPZ antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target CAPZ is a known alias name of the protein capping actin protein of muscle Z-line subunit alpha 1, encoded by the CAPZA1 gene in humans. This 286-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Indicated applications for CAPZ antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
